Post Free Horsepower
What are some little tips that you guys know of to make more horsepower with out buying upgrades?

1.) I've heard of gutting the air box but I'm still on the fence about that one.

2.) Synchronizing your carbs i.e. make sure they begin to open exactly the same time and both reach full open.

3.) Leaning it out works until she blows. "burn it down and walk away..."

What else do you guys have for me?

How about aligning those skis? Proper track tension. Proper suspension setup too.

Lots of little things add up too...like making sure your exhaust flanges aren't obstructing the exhaust flow out the port....etc..

I heard it helps to grease the muffler bearings too.
