Rumor has it MIRA is going to cut their sanctioning fee but no one in
the industry seems to know if they are still around or have just walked
away. Everyone agrees this is the time most winter groups get quiet but
people spoken to think this is odd no one is hearing from them.
What is going on?

Anyone still interested in Racing ??? Wont matter if they cut the sanctioning fee if there are no more Races running then last year. Right now it shows one MIRA race, and an EVENT MIRA does not have anything to do with ,THE SOO 500. They want the Publicity from that event but wont be involved or give Team Points even after they post they will
Rumor has it that the Caro Race (The only one shown on the 2011 Schedule with a date) will not be held either, due to the facts from last years Team Actions at the event Anyone know for sure ???
Would this mean that the payout goes down further or that the Teams entry fees will now go up, if they are even able to secure an event anywhere

How would being so MUM generate any interest in a New Race or Racer when Now is the time to be getting ready for the next Season ?? Very sad

If we wait for MIRA to update there site in might be 2011, if it ever gets done.They cant even show the winning Teams, finish positions,ect from last season?? Numbers without pictures mean nothing. Sorry for the Teams and Members for sure!! Are they ashamed of them or to busy planting potatoes

its almost a waste to reply to you anymore but here goes. there are phone numbers on the website to call the board members. if you would do that you could have all of your questions answered. i did, its not that hard. you could always volunteer to help, you always sound soooo concerned.

So now everyone has to Call a Board Member ????? This is the year 2010, like you say in so many of your post, IS MIRA still in the 1970's. Do they think that every Sponsor or prospective Racer should Call them. Maybe its best if they stay to farming, seems like they keep planting themselves year after year lately.

Concerned Yes because I was going to try attend a race this year if they even have one.

i realize its quite a drive from ohio to the UP but it doesnt take months to plan . dont you worry bout me timmy , im not on here saying bad things about MIRA.

Good luck on your pond races Kutter at least you can run with them maybe when it lives long enough and in front of all 5 of your buddies in the crowd. I am sure glad you gave them free tickets to the show
